Colors flow from stripe to stripe in this ombré mosaic stitch blanket. Baby Fern Lake is designed as a crib size for perfect snuggle, but if you’d like a throw size, see the Fern Lake blanket (see pictures below).

Skill Level

Intermediate-Beginner (once you are comfortable knitting and purling in the same row you’ll be good to go).

Cast on, knit, purl, slip stitch with yarn in front or back, bind-off, weaving in ends, reading a pattern.

Berroco Vintage Baby features an even softer blend of machine washable fibers in a DK weight. The two-ply yarn has a slight sheen and is perfect for all your projects that need a gentle touch. It also comes in a smaller, 50g ball (great for a baby hat or a pair of booties) and lots of baby-happy colours.

I love how a simple a one row chevron lace repeat can look in a fun stripe pattern! This version of Eden is written as a crib size, but if you want to make it as a throw see the Eden Blanket (see pictures below), designed with Berroco Remix Light.
