I Want That Wrap
If you’re one of those people who isn’t into knitting summer projects you might want to skip ahead to fall … and I love this simple wrap for fall! It’s an easy knit for both beginners experienced knitters alike.
Additionally, the materials aren’t complicated and don’t have to be pricey: 3 skeins of affordable Cascade 220 Heathers gets the job done (get a 4th skein if you want to make yours larger). For something fancier in a hand-painted yarn try Malabrigo Rios, or for a tweedy texture try Noro Silk Garden Solo (it’s on sale too!). I’m also inclined to suggest Mineville Angora Wool which knits up with such a gorgeous halo and light drape.
The fabric is purposefully knitted looser than normal, with a relaxed stitch, giving the fabric drape and movement.
