This is also the perfect yarn for learning how to make socks (we use it in our sock classes with 3.75mm/US5 needles).

People who wear snazzy socks have more fun. Regia Design Line by Wool and the Gang (also known as Regia Kinda Magic Sock) yarn comes in a kit and knits up in a pattern all by itself; as you whiz through your knit the leopard print pattern will start to show its spots, and then before you know it, TA-DAH – one pair of leopard print socks, as if by magic! Note: it’s really important to get the correct tension in this yarn to make the patterning work, so swatch before you start.
Regia LOVE a good sock. Based in Germany, they have over 65 years’ experience in the bag of making the best-of-the-best sock yarn. They come with a 10-year quality assurance too – that’s how bloomin’ good they are.

We just finished a VERY quick & satisfying summer quickie, our Instant Gratification Cardi! We used a thick & quick cotton, DMC Natura XL, and 8mm/US11 needles – can’t go wrong with big needles! Also, because the yarn is thicker than the one the pattern was originally conceived with, we went down about 4″ in size (we made the 34″ size and got a 38″ size). If you want the sleeves longer, definitely buy an extra skein of yarn.

We’re clearing out ALL of our stock of Premier Couture Jazz(the yarn that Amr Knit blankets a ‘thing’), so if you’ve ever wanted to try this out, now is the time!
Premier Couture Jazz
Premier Couture Jazz is the favourite yarn of arm knitters, and we agree that it’s the best material for super-duper bulky blankets whether you’re making on needles or with your limbs. It’s a soft and fluffy knitted tube of fine, brushed acrylic, which means that it can be washed and it will look great in your home for a long time. (We want you to love your projects, and the wool roving that is used in arm knitting videos popular on social media is unfortunately by its nature very delicate and will start to pill and look mungy even before you finish your blanket. We love the way roving looks in pictures, but it regrettably doesn’t have much longevity after the photo shoot.)
