Twistin’ The Night Away

Need to make something for the non-hat wearer in in your life? Banish hat-hair with this quick & easy headband! It’s a quick & easy knit, and small enough to work as a secret-santa gift. One skein of Malabrigo Rasta or Cascade Spuntaneous makes at least two headbands – one for you and one for them? Headband Twinsies!

Yarn Options

Both of these yarns are made from buttery soft, super-bulky merino wool – perfect for a headband!

Malabrigo Rasta: 1 skein makes 2 headbands
Cascade Spuntaneous: 1 skein makes 2.5 headbands

FREEBIE Leaf Lace Headband

Leaf Lace Headband

What a great one-skein project! A quick headband is a great gift and satisfying little knit. It calls for Malabrigo Chunky, but you can use any bulky weight yarn that knits on a 6.5mm needle (see list below). It’s knit flat, from side to side, so you won’t need fancy needles, and the lace pattern is simple 4 row pattern repeat. You can finish it up by making an i-cord (or crochet loop) and a button, or just seam the two ends together.

Finished Project: Calisson Part 2

Callison Part 2

We made a Calisson headband (we wrote about it last week) and I wanted to show it off! We used one skein of Malabrigo Mecha (actually, just over half a skein) and 6mm needles.
